Artemis Design Co. creates handmade, one-of-a-kind shoes and bags from vintage Turkish Kilim carpets. The company was founded in 2007 by Milicent Armstrong, who fell in love with the shoes and bags she saw on a trip to Istanbul.

Their most popular shoes are crafted from hand-sourced vintage Kilim carpets, which are then cut and sewn together by skilled artisans. Each pair of shoes is unique, with its own distinct pattern and color scheme.
