Consignment Guidelines
Your consignment will last up to 180 days. Items that are in high demand usually sell within four weeks. We ensure that your items reach a global audience, so they sell as quickly as possible. Unsold items can be returned to you or donated to charity.
If You’re Out of State
Centrally based in the Twin Cities, Menswear Market has consignment clients across the U.S. If you’re out-of-state and would like to consign with us, simply box your items, ship them here using our pre-paid shipping label, and get paid when they sell.
What’s Accepted?
Our customers are seeking unique designer items and high end luxury brands such as Loro Piana, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Tom Ford. Categories include shoes, jackets, suits, clothing and accessories.
In some cases, we can also accept vintage items such as sportswear and higher quality shoes. Items must be clean, authentic, and gently worn.

Our Process
After receiving your collection, we create a catalog of your items. Then we evaluate each piece – documenting the size, features, condition, history, authenticity and other important details.
To uncover the value of your designer piece, we research the original retail price, and then browse comparable online listings dating back at least three years. Next, they are moved to the photography studio, where we capture the details that make your items special.
We list your items on multiple channels, and we handle customer inquiries at each of them. When an item sells, we provide prompt and secure delivery to the customer.

Selling FAQ
What is your commission or fee?
We pay our clients a fair and competitive price for items sold. Depending on the sale price, you will receive the following percentage of the proceeds: 50% for $50 and less, 60% for $50 – $999, 70% for $1,000 or more.
Can you pick up items at my home?
If you’re a local client in the greater Twin Cities area, we can help you sort out the clothing to keep, sell and donate. Editing your wardrobe is easier when we can quickly asses what will sell in the secondhand market. When the closet cleanout is done, we transport all consigned pieces to our Minneapolis warehouse.
Is there a limit to the number of items I can send?
For new sellers, we recommend starting with a shipment of 10 – 20 approved items. After these items are received and evaluated, we can accommodate a larger quantity. Our store has liquidated large estate collections with thousands of designer items.
